A ydy probiotics yn gwneud unrhyw beth i'r hwyl?
Mae'r dadansoddiadau meta yn gymedrol positif. Mae'r treialon y tu ôl iddynt yn fach, yn fyr ac yn amrywiol yn ddigon fel bod cymedroldeb positif yn hynod o ddisgwyliedig hyd yn oed os nad yw dim yn gweithio.
Beth mae'r dadansoddiadau meta yn ei ddod o hyd i
Mae dadansoddiadau wedi'u cyfuno o probiotics, prebiotics a synbiotics ar gyfer symptomau iselder a phryder yn adrodd effeithiau positif bychain [1][2][4], gyda adolygiad systematig yn cyrraedd casgliadau cyd-fynd [3]. Os cymerir yn wyneb, mae hynny'n ganlyniad positif.
Os cymerir gyda nodweddion y astudiaeth, mae'n llawer gwaner. Mae'r treialon yn fach, yn fyr, yn defnyddio rhywogaethau gwahanol ar ddosau gwahanol, ac yn mesur graddfeydd symptomau mewn poblogaethau nad ydynt yn glinigol lle mae adferiad i'r cyfartaledd yn sylweddol. Mae effeithiau positif bychain wedi'u cyfuno o llenyddiaeth gyda'r nodweddion hynny yn union beth mae bias cyhoeddi yn ei gynhyrchu.
Probiotics ar gyfer hwyl
Y broblem rhywogaeth
Dyma'r mater y mae'r rhan fwyaf o'r cwmpas defnyddwyr yn ei golli. Mae Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG a Bifidobacterium longum 1714 yn organebau gwahanol gyda chanlyniadau metabolig gwahanol. Mae tystiolaeth am un yn dweud dim am yr llall, dim mwy nag y byddai tystiolaeth am un gwrthfiotig yn trosglwyddo i un arall.
Mae'r rhan fwyaf o gynhyrchion manwerthu yn rhestru rhywogaeth a rhywogaeth heb benodyn rhywogaeth, sy'n golygu na allwch eu mapio ar unrhyw dreial hyd yn oed pan fo treial perthnasol yn bodoli. Mae cynnyrch nad yw'n enwi'r rhywogaeth, yn y bôn, heb unrhyw dystiolaeth.
Ble mae gan probiotics well tystiolaeth
Mae'r llenyddiaeth am hwyl yn y pen gwael. Mae ceisiadau cryfach yn bodoli, ac mae'n werth bod yn glir am y gwahaniaeth:
- Diarrhoea sy'n gysylltiedig â gwrthfiotig. Tystiolaeth resymol, rhywogaethau penodol.
- Atal diarrhoea teithwyr. Dadansoddiad meta gyda chymedrol effeith — gweler ein safle iechyd teithio.
- Colic babanod, ar gyfer rhywogaethau penodol.
- Pouchitis ar ôl colectomy, lle mae tystiolaeth yn gymharol gryf.
Beth sydd gan y rhain yn gyffredin: cyflwr penodol, rhywogaeth benodol, a chadwyn achos byr ymarferol. Nid oes gan hwyl unrhyw un o'r rhain.
Beth i'w wneud yn lle hynny
Bwyta'r bacteria sydd gennych eisoes. Mae ffibr a bwydydd wedi'u ffermentio yn newid y microbiome yn fwy dibynadwy na llyncu capsiwl o organebau sydd fel arfer ddim yn colonïo — gweler ffibr. Mae'n llai marchnadadwy ac yn llawer mwy cefnogedig.
