Beth yw'r axys ysgyfaint-yng-nghymdeithas?

System cyfathrebu go iawn, a ddisgrifiwyd yn fanwl mewn rodentiaid, ac yn llawer llai sefydledig yn y bobl y mae'n cael ei marchnata iddynt.

Y broblem gyfeiriad

Mae adolygiad systematig yn dod o hyd i wahaniaethau microbiota rhwng pobl sydd â iselder neu bryder a rheolaeth [2]. Mae'r cwestiwn sy'n penderfynu popeth yn gofyn pa ffordd y mae'r saeth yn pwyntio.

Mae iselder yn newid beth mae pobl yn ei fwyta, faint maen nhw'n symud, sut maen nhw'n cysgu ac yn aml beth yw'r meddyginiaeth maen nhw'n ei chymryd. Mae pob un o'r newidiadau hynny'n newid y microbiome. Mae gwahaniaeth yn y gymysgedd microbaidd felly yn union yr hyn y byddech yn ei ddisgwyl os yw iselder yn achosi newid yn y microbiome ac nad yw'r microbiome yn gwneud dim o gwbl.

Mae'r un anhawster yn berthnasol i'r llenyddiaeth syndrom metabolig [3] ac i'r gwaith awtistig [4], lle mae dewis dietegol yn gyffredin a byddai'n cynhyrchu gwahaniaethau microbiome ar ei ben ei hun.

Beth fyddai'n ei sefydlu

Treialon rhannol o ymyriadau microbiome penodol gyda phwyntiau terfyn clinigol, cyfnod digonol a maint sampl digonol. Mae'r rhain yn dechrau ymddangos ac yn rheswm pam y bydd y dudalen hon yn newid. Hyd nes hynny, y sefyllfa onest yw bod yr axys yn bodoli ac nad yw'r ceisiadau defnyddwyr a adeiladwyd arno wedi'u profi — gweler probiotigau.

Cwestiynau cyffredin

A yw'r coluddyn wir yn "ail ymennydd"?
Mae'r system nerfol enterig yn fawr ac yn led-annibynnol, felly mae gan y trosiad sail. Nid yw'n meddwl, ac mae'r ymadrodd yn gwneud mwy o waith marchnata na gwaith disgrifiadol.
A yw 90% o serotonin yn dod o'r coluddyn?
Cynhyrchir y rhan fwyaf o serotonin y corff yn y coluddyn, ac nid yw'n croesi'r rhwystr gwaed-ymennydd. Mae serotonin y coluddyn a serotonin yr ymennydd yn bolion ar wahân i raddau helaeth, peth y mae'r honiad fel arfer yn ei anwybyddu.
A all newid fy niet newid fy hwyliau drwy fy ngholuddyn?
Mae diet yn effeithio ar hwyliau drwy sawl llwybr. Nid yw ynysu'r microbiom fel y cyfryngwr wedi'i gyflawni mewn bodau dynol.
Beth ddylwn i ei wneud mewn gwirionedd?
Bwytewch fwy o ffibr a bwyd eplesedig. Dyma'r ymyriad sydd â'r dystiolaeth orau a'r gost isaf — gweler ffibr.
