Kas probiootikumid mõjutavad meeleolu?
Metaanalüüsid on kergelt positiivsed.
Esmapilgul on tegemist positiivse leiuga.
Uuringute omadusi arvestades on leid palju nõrgem. Uuringud on väikesed, lühikesed, kasutavad erinevaid tüvesid erinevates annustes ning mõõdavad sümptomiskaalasid mittekliinilistes populatsioonides, kus regressioon keskmise poole on märkimisväärne. Väikesed positiivsed koondtoimed sellise kirjanduse puhul on täpselt see, mida avaldamiskallutatus tekitab.
Probiootikumid meeleolu jaoks
Tüveprobleem
See on probleem, millest enamik tarbijaajakirjandust mööda vaatab.
Kus probiootikumidel on paremad tõendid
Meeleolu käsitlev kirjandus on nõrgim osa.
Metaanalüüsitud tagasihoidliku toimega — vt meie reisitervise lehte.
See on vähem müügiks sobiv, kuid oluliselt paremini tõendatud.
Korduma kippuvad küsimused
Kas peaksin võtma probiootikumi?
Kas probiootikumid koloniseerivad minu soolestikku?
Kas jogurt on sama hea?
Aga roojasiirdamine?
