Woraus diese Literatur besteht
Die Synthese ist hier der primären Literatur voraus – Übersichtsarbeiten und Meta-Analysen, die auf einer bescheidenen Anzahl zugrunde liegender Studien basieren. Behandeln Sie selbstbewusste Schlussfolgerungen mit der Vorsicht, die die Stichprobengröße verdient.
Die Unterscheidung, die am wichtigsten ist, ist zwischen Synthese und primärer Forschung. Eine Meta-Analyse fasst Studien zusammen und ist das Nächste, was ein Feld zu einer geklärten Antwort produziert. Eine narrative Übersichtsarbeit ist die Lesart einer Gruppe des gleichen Materials und kann selektiv sein, ohne unehrlich zu sein. Sie zusammen zu zählen, was die meisten Zitationszählungen tun, verschleiert genau das, was Sie wissen möchten.
