Probiootikumi tüvi
Lactiplantibacillus plantarum 299v: milleks see tüvi sobib
Probiootikumide tõendusmaterjal on tüvispetsiifiline. See, mis kehtib L. plantarum 299v kohta, ei kehti automaatselt kõige kohta, mis kannab sama liiginime.
Mille jaoks seda on uuritud
Randomiseeritud uuringud näitavad puhituse ja valu vähenemist IBS-i korral; eraldi uuringud viitavad paranenud mitteheemse raua omastamisele. [1]
IBS-i uuringud on heterogeensed ja platseeborespons on IBS-i puhul teadaolevalt suur.
Miks tüvekood on oluline
Probiootikumide toime on tüvispetsiifiline ja see ei ole formaalsus. Sama liigi kaks tüve võivad erineda selle poolest, milliseid pinnavalke nad ekspresseerivad, kas nad püsivad elus mao happe toimel, kas nad üldse kinnituvad soole limaskestale, ja mida nad seal toodavad. Uuring, mis näitab kasu L. plantarum 299v puhul, näitab seda L. plantarum 299v kohta — mitte liigi kohta.
Praktiline tagajärg on see, et silti, millel on märgitud ainult liiginimi, ei saa kontrollida. Kui täielik nimetus puudub, ei saa kapslis oleva sisu kohta ühtegi avaldatud tõendusmaterjali siduda.
Teised tüved

- Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 — antibiootikumidega seotud kõhulahtisus, reisijate kõhulahtisus.
- Bifidobacterium longum 1714 — stressireaktsioon, subjektiivne ärevus.
- Bifidobacterium infantis 35624 — IBS.
- Limosilactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 — imiku koolikud.
- De Simone kaheksa tüve formulatsioon — pouchiit, haavandiline koliit.
Mille jaoks L. plantarum 299v hea on?
Kas ma saan asendada sama liigi teise kaubamärgiga?
Kas probiootikumid püsivad elus maohappe toimel?
Kas rohkem CFU-d on parem?
